I'm Kathy, owner of sensational babies and mummy of 4 boys.We curate personalised sensory for babies and are based in Kent.
Our sensory box business idea was came to me in February 2019. I attended a our local sensory class with my youngest son Tommy. We started when he was just 6 weeks old but he absolutely loved all the new experiences that the class offered. Every week I Watched how he responded to sensory play and it Inspired me to want to carry this on at home, So I set about sourcing items that we used.
I came up against the problem that I found this not only to be really expensive, but impossible to source everything that I wanted from just one place. I thought how amazing (and so much easier!) it would be to be able to order a box of sensory items, and that was where the dream, that a few months later became sensational babies was born.
We set about researching, sourcing and testing ( with Tommy being our chief product tester ) We curated a sensory box that we were ( and still are ) so proud of. Parents and their baby's love our boxes, you only need to read or reviews to see this.
Over the last 2 years we have grown and developed to the business we are today, sending sensory boxes to babies all over the UK and internationally. We are committed to continue to grow with many amazing ideas in the pipeline, i'm so excited to see what the future holds for us.
